The Next Big Thing in Getting Around Are ‘Transportation Network Intermediaries’

Last week, investors put $50 million into Moovit, a transportation network intermediary (that’s what I am calling it). Companies like it will be transformative in getting from A to B.

Moovit is an application that gives users instructions and options on the best way to get from one place to another using multiple modes of public transit. As it adds more and more mobility services, Moovit will become more and more efficient at providing the best transportation.
